Get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. You are dealt one card; the dealer shows one and hides one.
Hit, stand or double at any time, on any number of cards, and keep playing after a double. Each double doubles your whole bet so far ($10, $20, $40...). A double needs the credit to cover it. No splits, no surrender.
Doubling on a lone Ace gets one card and stands. Hitting a lone Ace is an ordinary hit.
Blackjack (your first two cards make 21) is paid at once on your whole bet. Any other 21 stands by itself. Over 21 loses.
The dealer hits soft 17. If the dealer ends on exactly 22 your bet pushes; over 22 the dealer busts and you win.
If the dealer shows an Ace you can take insurance for half your bet. If the dealer shows a ten or Ace the hole card is checked first, and a dealer blackjack ends the hand.
Push 22 is an optional side bet, placed before the deal. It wins when the dealer finishes on exactly 22. It loses on anything else.
Dealer Bust is an optional side bet, placed before the deal. It wins when the dealer busts (a dealer 22 counts) with 4 or more cards, paying more the more cards the dealer takes. It loses if the dealer stands, busts on 3 cards or fewer, or has blackjack. The dealer plays out the hand even if you bust or have blackjack.
